Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A thorough yet entertaining introduction to how the political system works. The material studied is written well; it is engaging without being too stuffy.

    Course highlights:

I studied different types of governments, election scenarios, political philosophies, special interest groups, and media influence.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

From my perspective, the goal of the course was encouraging students to analyze the components of political science to develop educated opinions about it. Students were encouraged to share their opinions through weekly essays. A moderate grasp of writing and composition is the most important tool you use in this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Robert is a great professor! He is very passionate about the subject is always open for a debate. He has a great teaching style. This course is a bit tricky but just go to class and I'm sure you will catch on! The only reason I would call it some what difficult is because of the different lingo.

    Course highlights:

We played a couple day long game that involved us with other students. We took the roles of other countries and proceeded to be in a mock war. I learned a lot about the relations in the middle east. We even had conferences trying to resolve the war.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus on the tests he gives you! The mini weekly quizzes you have to take, print those off. Once midterms and finals come around, all you need to do is study those quizzes. Same questions are on the big tests. Attendance counts.
