Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would recommend this course, because it is very interesting and will help anyone to better understand humans, animals, and cells alike. It also will give the student a small taste of chemistry, which is required for many science degrees.
Dr. Ward created a very fun environment to learn in, and his small side lectures helped students to better understand the main ideas of the class. Thanks to Dr. Ward, I learned how to identify amino acids, proteins, and other important structures in their chemical structures, physical structures, and as represented in a chemistry notation.

Advice for students:
This class requires several hours of study, and it definitely requires notes in class and while reading. Bio 111 can be almost impossible if you are not willing to dedicate time and effort to understand core concepts, or if you are unwilling to ask for help understanding things that may be difficult for you personally.
