    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because this professor actually taught me the importance of reading. Before my teachers would only read me story's and make me write many essays he did as well but with a different passion.

    Course highlights:

I gained my professor's insight in taking this course. When I was welcomed into his room I really didn't want to be there. He got along with everyone and was hand to hand with everyone in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In this course I would recommend that you show up because everyday was something different you learned and it wasn't basic english reading material every other teacher would help you with.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this class because it can be a waste of time. Most of the class period was spend on off topic things and not related to English. I don't think I learned much from the class that I had not already knew. I would do really good on the essays and at the end of the quarter I ended up getting C which did not make sense to me. I think tried talk to him about my grade and he was not very organized and was not much help.

    Course highlights:

I only gained to turn in assignments on time and that was helpful. I was learned how to write an essay and see both sides of a topic. I used to only see one side to everything and now I learned to be more open minded.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I think being in class is very important because that is how you get all the information for the due dates of the essay and what the essay will be about. Turing in assignments on time is very important in this class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was not hard at all for me because I really like English. The topics in the class were also interesting to write about and the essays were about current issues in the US which I think made it easier to write about. The only downside about the class was the little time we actually spend on learning about English . Most of class was spent talked about off topic things that were interesting to talk about but, not very helpful in our learning aspect.

    Course highlights:

I gained to think differently about topics I was close mined about. I learned to see the two sides to a controversial topic and research about it. I improved in writing a thesis statement and supporting my thesis. Also writing my essays in a more organized manner.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I think the best advice to students is just always being in class to actually be able to hear the due dates on the essays. The sooner you know what you are writing about the sooner you will begin writing and turn in your assignments on time. The process of writing a good essay takes time, so the earlier the better.
