    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

ENG 101 English Composition opens your eyes to basics of truly effective writing and essay writing. Texts assigned provide a challenge, something that is a big part of college. Most courses if not all will be a challenge. You just have to enjoy it.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I am not as good of an essay writer as I had thought I was, and that is okay because continuing to challenge myself will be an effective way to improve my skills. I learned that teamwork is dreamwork and you should always ask questions no matter how stupid you think it sounds.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest that you stay focused, and accept the challenge instead of letting the wave of difficulty wash over you, taking with it all of your will to achieve. Getting discouraged in college is normal and I knew that coming in, but only you yourself can find motivation and find the will within yourself to succeed. Take thorough notes every class, and record it also to fill in the blanks.
