Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Catherine's way of teaching is incredibly helpful, not only does she talk to each individual student but she makes sure not one student falls behind. Language, cultural or any other type of barriers are a thing of fiction in her eyes. Always willing to help students no matter what and being really nice and understanding. She is a great teacher and her workload is a tad heavy but she knows how to be fair.

    Course highlights:

Going into this class I expected an easy A like most people. Yet, if you didn't do any of the readings or participated in class you weren't going to easily pass. Learning culture and history through the eyes of my Hispanic and Latino decent is completely different then how things are taught In a public high school here in the US.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're going into this class expecting a GPA booster or an easy A, don't. Please know Catherine is willing to teach every individual student and that even though she is nice she expects 100% from each and everyone of her students. She will test you at times and when the going gets tough with the assignments please don't give up.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was such an interesting class and the professor was so great.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the extra credit, you could bring in food into the class and the professor would make that an extra credit assignment. I learned about the Hispanic history and famous Hispanic heroes and and their stories.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, pay attention and the reset will fall into place. Ask questions, and visit during office hours if needed.
