    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's a higher level math course that presents a challenge to students and allows them to expand their knowledge in order to learn trigonometry.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course, on a general aspect, I’ve learned to incorporate beneficial study habits in my daily routine. No math course, up to this point, has presented such difficulty to where I would have to spend such a significant time studying. I would often find myself studying in my room or staying after school with my teacher in order for me to grasp what I was being taught. Overall, I am glad I took this course because my development of study habits is a trait that I will be able to carry onto college and further.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, focus and remain focused. Don't get distracted by irrelevant things or events (i.e., parties or mall trips) because in life, there will be plenty of time for that. However this time of your life is for school and education. So just study hard, pay attention and push yourself to excel. And with that, you will have no problem mastering this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Trig is one of the easiest math classes I've taken! The concepts, whether new or old were fairly easy to understand and easy to study and do work at home!

    Course highlights:

I learned better ways to study because the type of math was very different. I had to memorize different things like a unit circle which is not the same as memorizing types of problems and how to solve them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Really drill and memorize the unit circle! That's a huge part of this class and helps in future classes, like Pre-Calc.
