Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class for many reasons. I've learned that even if you aren't going into mathematics this class if required for just about every career. By observing others I have found that even if you aren't super good at math you can still going well in this class because it is a different form of math. If you set your mind to passing, you can do it.

    Course highlights:

My biggest highlight is the teacher. Mr. Hower has helped me understand Statistics very well. He has also encouraged me to do better and I like his teaching style. Mr. Hower is great at planning/timing. He gets through the material in a timely manner and then gives you about two months after finishing the book to study for the Ap test at the end of the year.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I wouldn't recommend falling behind in this class. The materials build off of each other. If you have any questions ask Mr Hower or a reliable student as soon as possible. If you really want to succeed you can't only do homework and studying for test/quizzes in class. You have to put in your own time and effort. Also, staying on Mr. Hower's good side would be a smart choice. If you do what you are suppose to and you don't push your limits or his buttons you'll be fine. If you set your mind to passing, you can do it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course even if you aren't going into mathematics. Almost all careers require this math course. I've learned by watching others that even if you aren't that good at math you can still do well in this class because it's a different type of math. It involves more story problem type problems.

    Course highlights:

My biggest highlight of this class is the teacher. Mr. Hower plans and times things really well, so after you finish the book you still have about 2 months to review for the AP test at the end of the year. He has helped me understand Statistics pretty well and has encouraged me to be better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind in this class. If you have any questions seek help right away from either Mr. Hower or another reliable student. Also, don't only use class time to finish the homework and study for test/quizzes. In order to succeed in this class you have to put time and effort into it. Also, stay on Mr. Hower's good side by doing what you're asked and don't push your limits or his buttons.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. Mr. Hower moves at a quick pace, but he always makes sure that you understand and is willing to help when needed.

    Course highlights:

The fast pace of the course is my favorite part of it. I learned a lot about how to use stats correctly.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you are ready to pay attention and take notes. This is a dual-credit class.
