    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although this course was pretty rigorous, it prepared me for other classes that I took at stevenson. Teacher was very helpful outside of the classroom.

    Course highlights:

My favorite parts of this class was when we learned about inflation rates and things of that sort because it was actually applicable to my life

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make a relationship with your teacher, it's your best shot at success and you will want her in your corner.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Pre Calculus is definitely one of the best courses I've taken in high school. How I see it, math is black and white, so once it clicks, you've got it! How I got an A: DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Really, sit down and focus!

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of Pre Calculus was learning about the Unit Circle and Trigonometry! They are FUNDAMENTAL to Calculus, and now that I'm in an AP Calculus class, I'm using them everyday! I loved trigonometry because I can really visualize it!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to FOCUS! If you want to succeed or get that A, turn your phone off and really immerse yourself in the lesson. Ask questions, and set a good example for your peers. Trust me, when you get off Facebook and start paying attention, those test scores will rise exponentially!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Precalculus is one of the most important math classes you could take in High School. In order to succeed in life, you must be able to solve complex equations.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to deal with the functions of logs. I also learned how to solve rational equations, both simple and complex, that set the base for the rest of what we learned.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take your time. It is important to take the course seriously because you won't regret it in the future. If there is something you don't understand, ask for assistance right away because if not, you will be confused for the rest of the unit.
