Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was intriguing because students learn the basis of why people act and think the way they do; students learn about themselves as well as the rest of the human race, and how to use this knowledge to their benefit.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included units of study regarding learning and memory; attaining this knowledge not only helped students learn about psychology as a whole, but equipped them with the knowledge of tasks regarding how to more effectively learn in their own lives themselves.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should make sure they understand the history of psychology and the general basis of which historical psychologist contributed what to the field of study, because the history is the foundation for the whole course; many other units are just in-depth versions of topics touched on in history.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because even though it is very difficult at times, you learn a lot of super interesting stuff and Mrs. Mackson in my opinion is a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the good feeling I got when I did good on a test. I learned a lot of stuff from the development of an infant to an adult to how the eye works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always remember to get your homework done and not fall behind. Never tell yourself that you'll go back and learn something later because you won't end up doing it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Psychology relates to many different aspects of one's life and other classes. It relates to statistics in terms of running experiments and calculating the significance of results, biology through neuropsychiatry and the human brain, and even society through the applications of social psychology to group situations, conformity, and more. Taking AP Psychology helps one develop a more open-minded view of other fields of academia; I now plan to obtain a minor in psychology.

    Course highlights:

The best aspect of this course is social psychology. You learn about things such as group think, conformity, attributions, the bystander effect, discrimination, and more and begin to more deeply understand the psychology behind these concepts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students to keep up with the workload. As you learn during the memory unit, gradually learning information helps you retain it better, so procrastinating work until the end of a chapter will only hurt you in the long run.
