Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very beginner, but it definitely introduces you to the world of fashion. You get an introductory course in marketing and business. This course also allows you to give powerpoint presentations on many fashion subjects you enjoy including the latest designs, designers, and trends. At the end of the course, your class is responsible for all aspects of putting on a live fashion show.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course include learning about the fashion industry, creating the powerpoint presentations about your favorite designer and trends, and organizing the fashion show. I learned how to take responsibility my senior year as one of the managers of the many departments assigned to seniors. This responsibility allowed me to realize what area of the fashion industry I enjoy which includes management, sales, advertising, modeling, photography, and buying.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for powerpoint presentations and independent work. You have a few essays during the course to write, however, they are not that long. The fashion show is the biggest event at the end of the course. Make sure you cooperate and volunteer to help in as many areas as possible for the fashion show. It takes an entire team to make the show a success!!
