    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

while in middle school I took a class to get one Spanish credit, all I need is one more to complete my launguge credits. Spanish is the 2nd most common laungue in America, and since I'm Hispanic I understand some so it's not that bad! Although, I struggle I find that other native speakers who know better, love to help explain! After all it is their expertise,

    Course highlights:

I learned about things I wouldn't have otherwise known, for example: ALOTTTT more Spanish people then you think have features such as blond or red hair and they don't just have brown eyes, there's a HUGE variety! Mexican, South American, portugal, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and so much more!!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY ALOT, I'm not the best Spanish speaker, but I'm Hispanic by blood and THIS CLASS was tough for me! But once you study allot, it just clicks.... and you don't have to study as much anymore

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I truly enjoyed learning a language that was foreign to me. Being that I am Hispanic, I felt an outsider at times when everyone around me was speaking something I could not understand. Taking this course gave me a deeper appreciation for my culture and allowed me to make connections with people I once had a language barrier to.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to say the basic words concerning things like food, toiletries, and what not. Also, basic expressions to use everyday. I learned how to properly address people and how to hold conversations deeper than "hello" and "how are you?".

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you keep on top of the assignments and start the homework in class (she always gives you time to do so) it will be a breeze. Studying and practicing conjugations regularly is key. Also, looking at things all over your house and attempting to say/describe them in Spanish is great practice.
