    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Father Kestermeier is the most difficult, but he enlights you in many ways about literature and life itself

    Course highlights:

In class debates about whether a character in a story should be considered good or evil. For example, debating whether Gilgamesh is a good friend or a manipulator.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do everything he says, and follow the minute details.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a required course but I also enjoyed it very much. Every week we had two papers to turn in. We learned how to format out writing for letters, both formal and informal, we learned to create resumes and cover pages. We did this all by doing the writing instead of talking about formatting.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the different topics we were given. There was always something new and interesting to write about and he took us out of our comfort zone. We wrote obituaries and sport articles, which I never had written before. He helped us explore different topics and writing techniques.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get multiple drafts in! It is very helpful to revise your work as much as possible to get into the habit of proper formatting.
