Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The information in this class is directly applicable to the real world, and provides insight into the way the world works. This course has the potential to open one's eyes to the biases and perspective that they have, as well as the things that influence and shape this perspective. It also introduces the student to other perspectives that may be unfamiliar to them but that provide valuable information.

    Course highlights:

The articles and videos assigned during this class are well-chosen and interesting. The chapter on social deviance was particularly intriguing as it approaches topics that are somewhat taboo and that are often avoided in other classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listening to the professor in this class is a better strategy than worrying about taking too many notes. The readings and the lectures provide the best information for the exams. Participation is graded on a curve so make sure to ask questions and raise your hand in class.
