    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course was more challenging at the beginning than I thought. Students often don't pay attention to the details in Dr. Shibata's lectures, and, therefore, receive low scores. However, I got very good grades in this class, an A, because I knew how to connect the knowledge of the lecture together in my notes and listened to the video lectures 2, or 3 more times to get enough information to study for test.

    Course highlights:

I learn more about genes, how the Calvin cycle works, the cell structures, immunology, and virus. The highlight of this course is the more advanced knowledge of upper classes of Biology was brought into this course to teach us to prepare us for more knowledge for the upper classes so that we will be more confident with Biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please review your notes carefully, rewrite them in your own way of understanding with many knowledge tools that you can use like memory cards or mind maps to conclude and shorten your note as much as possible.
