    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Advanced Algebra to any student who is wanting to xhallenge themselves academically. It is a more rigorous course that takes your knowledge of past math courses and ties it together with newer, deeper-level concepts. Also, much of the math on the SAT and PSAT is linked with aspects of Advanced Algebra. Not only on standardized tests, but the mat skills in Advanced Algebra can be used in real-world situations.

    Course highlights:

I learned to critically analyze problems and determine which formula or concept to use with that situation. I also learned real-life situations that I can apply the math I learned instead of it never being used again. This class inspired my time-management growth and study skills that I needed for future classes and standardized tests. I believe it to be a good preparation course for college in the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

First, come with all of the necessary supplies you need for the course. It is also important to stay organized and maintain the notes for each concept. Staying organized will serve useful and you go back and study for final tests and exams. Stay focused and always be attentive to the teacher when he or she is explaining examples. If you get a problem incorrect or you do not understand what is being teached, ask questions! It is ok to ask for help because it may help you later on in later chapters or maybe even in other classes. Always study and practice examples on your own. You will not only fully grasp what you are doing, but you might be teaching it to you fellow peers soon.
