    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an easy and interesting course to take as long as you do the readings at home! I would recommend this course to anyone interested in learning about the mental conditions and illnesses people face everyday. How society views people with mental illnesses and what is being done to help and benefit them.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is when we got to play an interactive therapy game that allows the students to become the therapist during sessions with interactive characters who all have different conditions. We then have a series of multiple choice questions in order to diagnose and treat the patents. This really helped us to get a realistic understanding of each condition.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor is very kind, however, he can be a bit forgetful so make sure to documents or save a copy of your homework assignments. Also, the class relies heavily on what is read at home in the various homework assignments so make sure you do them!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's an awesome course to take if you ever plan on working in a clinical setting or in a macro setting as well. The material learned is so interesting and intriguing that it's hard to lose interest.

    Course highlights:

The abnormal pathology in populations and the impact media and cinema make when portraying mental and emotional illnesses. The history of how professionals from different disciplines dealt with mental illnesses and health in general.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused and always ask questions. Always try to make the connection between the theories and research conducted on psychology and concepts. The book is a definite must. Stay in communication with the professor if you're confused about something and connect with peers who want to do well in the class as well.
