    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course because it was so much more than academia, I believe this course made me more worldly, intelligent, critical, and compassionate. I began looking at my community differently and seeing the news differently. It propelled me into the world of global politics and helped me to better understand the world im living in. It wasnt easy, but if you put the work in and just buckle down and DO it it will pay off.

    Course highlights:

Highlights from this course (pertaining to academia) include an extensive vocabulary for words existing in the "adult world" that I probably would never have learned otherwise and an appreciation of the effects of demographic transistion theory and migrations

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do it. Do the vocab, do the readings it will make your life so much easier. REREAD your notes and take GOOD notes. Dont type your notes you wont remember anything. Theres a good amount of freedom when it comes to big projects so do sometjnig you enjoy. And quizlet. Need i say more.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was very challenging for my one of my first AP courses in ninth grade. AP Human Geography is an interactive course that requires disciple because there are many projects that are done outside of school. For example, we had to go to a place that was different from our culture ( restaurant, spa, etc.) and do a project on what we learned about the culture. The course is very interesting and I highly suggest it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me during this course were when we did really unique projects, it pushed me out of my comfort zone. Also, the course work the extensiveness of the coursework was a highlight.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the work!!!! Study a lot, do exactly what the teacher tells you to and then some. Make sure to read the textbook thoroughly and to prepare for tests.
