    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was very interesting to learn about different eras in our country and how it affected the way we live now.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to manage my time a lot better and to review more important ideas, rather than just minor details in history.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Manage your time for this class. The class is very fast paced for a high school class and you should spend a lot of time on it outside of class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Well, this was my one B in high school. So don't take it if you think it will be just another easy history class like Freshmen World History. You have to really put a lot of effort into it. However, I really did enjoy this class, history that you might have never known is presented to you and you gain a new understanding on the history of the United States. So I thought the class was fun, the test were not though.

    Course highlights:

Definitely the lectures. I know that sounds weird. But Mr. Eliason made history fun. Everyday was just another day in United States History killing Natives Americans. Well, that's not the only thing but I learned a lot and had fun with it. My teacher did a great job on relaying the effects certain events had on our economy and government.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This class does not have much homework but expect to study a lot if you took it.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot in this class. Everyday was packed with new and interesting information. The test were very difficult, but extra credit packets helped prepare me. I would retake this class.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing about this class was learning about early settlement. I feel that in my past history classes we didn't go nearly as in depth about the information. There was a lot of fun fact that I still remember to this day.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend taking as many notes as possible. You can;t slack when it comes to note taking, that is your key to success for passing test. Make note cards, study several days in advance, and get in study groups with other students.
