Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As a senior I took British Literature with Mrs. Sauls. Usually in a lit class you read a bunch of boring text and you can not do anything about it because your grade is depending on it. However, in Brit Lit you read interesting novels. Even though most of them are older it still catches your attention and makes you want to read more.

    Course highlights:

The best part about this course was that is wasn't boring like a usual lit class. The novels were interesting and it made you want to keep reading. There was a lot of poetry but Mrs. Sauls was by far the best teacher I have ever had and she would walk you through it until it made sense to you. I learned that novels were very different then the books we typically read in a literature class. I think that is why British Lit was much more interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a lot of vocabulary, but making flashcards to study really helps. also, Mrs. Sauls would give a lot of note sheets that had the characters from each novel. If students keep up with those, fill them out, and actually use them to keep up with the novels the class will be a breeze.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Literature is the most beautiful thing. The fact that there is writing that dates back and we as people still connect with or maybe not even connect with is something that is so inspiring.

    Course highlights:

What I learned was that writing is a universal language it can be understood and spoken to many people in many different forms, it creates an idea of perspective of what a soul sees.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention and put it in words that you will understand, it helps contracts the hard dialogue of the writing pieces.
