    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Gratz is a great teacher and overall the course is fairly simple if you pay attention in class!

    Course highlights:

    I enjoy the investigative tasks.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you get all homework turned in and also spend some time studying at home.

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this class. All my high school career I had been told that AP Statistics was an easy math class, especially compared to Calculus. I did not enjoy Pre-calc , therefore I thought that taking AP Stats would be a good choice to get a math credit (that I didn't need) and an AP credit (that I did need). After the first semester I regretted my decision. This class was so much more difficult than I could have imagined. I'm usually a high A or medium B student, but my grade in this class has dropped as far as a D-. Currently my grade is a C and I anticipate that it will be dropping soon because I do not understand at all what we are doing. Now I don't reflect this review on the teacher. Mr. Gratz is a good guy, but he isn't very good at teaching me in a way I need to be taught. I learn best from seeing a teacher work out three or four problems in a lot of detail, but he just explains how to do the problems and expects me to be able to do the homework. Honestly, unless you plan on being a statistician, you do not need to take this class.

    Course highlights:

I honestly don't believe I learned anything other than being a statistician would be terrible. This work is so difficult. All it does is get in the way of me doing more important school work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Unless you want to go to college for statistics, do not take this class. You will regret it.
