    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

No matter your major, this class will help you in your workplace. If you understand how the money goes through the company, you will be a better rounded employee.

    Course highlights:

We learned the basics of all accounting, which include GAAP, the financial statements, and debits and credits. We learned how to correctly journalize entries regarding buying and selling inventory and services, ratios that provide information on the liquidity and risk of the company, and correctly posting the entries to the financial statements to ensure that the debits equal the credits.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend keeping up with the work. In this class, what you learn in the chapter carries over and you need to know it for the rest of the book. I recommend going to tutoring even if you do not think you need it. Finally, do the optional exercises. They helped me a lot and they will help you too!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Eric Primuth is such a great teacher!! Probably the best teacher I have had . . . EVER. He is very helpful and I truly believe he understands that everyone learns differently for he gives his material in different versions (audio of a lecture, video, interactive quizzes and readings).

    Course highlights:

It might sound silly, but the highlight of this course was the homework! I really enjoyed doing it and really feeling like I knew what I was doing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

YOU HAVE TO STAY ON POINT!! YOU CANNOT SLACK NOT EVEN FOR A SECOND!!!! You begin to slack and you might not ever catch up. It is very very very important that you throuroughly read the chapters and understand a concept. You will never be able to "wing" it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Borders is a very understanding and considerate instructor. She understood that we had lives other than her class. She made sure that the instructions were well worded and if you had a problem with anything that you could either call or text her.

    Course highlights:

Financial accounting is so very different than other types of accounting such as managerial accounting. This is the basics and gives understanding for the courses to come.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you need this course sign up for Professor Maltrice Borders.
