    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because Lindsay is a wonderful professor! Everything she does builds on the thing before it, so its easy to move forward in the class. She allows the students to tell her what we are struggling with and we focus on that in order to improve our writing skills, and she makes the class enjoyable with topics that interest us.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to thoroughly analyze and critique texts, and films. I've learned how to make an essay have flow with easy transitions within paragraphs and two and from different topics and I've also learned how to express my opinion with facts and information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to ask questions! Whenever you have the chance be sure to shoot her an email, or talk to her outside of class. She will do anything to help you. Be sure to pay attention in class, and take notes. If you ever get lost with how fast shes writing the notes on the screen, i would suggest recording what shes saying, and if you ask nicely shell send you a copy of the notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Iken was a great teacher. She made learning enjoyable in a subject I am not always enthusiastic about. She got the class involved in the book we were reading and she divided all of our work up perfectly in order to not overwhelm us. She was always available if we needed help and was very kind when correcting us. She did not go easy on us but she explained our mistakes in a way that we understood in order to not make us feel incapable. Overall I really enjoyed professor Iken and she also made me enjoy her English 1010 class.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of her class was reading the book, "The Kite Runner". She taught us more about the history and culture of the book, and she made it enjoyable while we did it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor Iken is a good professor, that does not mean she is easy, but if you do your work and work hard you will do good in her class. She is willing to work with you so if you are struggling take the time and ask for help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took the class online, and it was my favorite class I have taken at tri-c so far. I learned more in this class than my other english classes. Professor Kanieski was willing to help and did not overload us with work, which was nice.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the whole class. I did not learn anything specifically that stood out, but I did become better at writing, and english. We did an argumentative essay and I learned how to properly argue in an essay.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrasinate. Set out a time to sit down and get all the week's work done in a night.
