    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Extremely interesting and eye-opening.

    Course highlights:

Getting to learn about cultures from all around the world was amazing, as well as aspects of our own culture that you would never even think about. Beth Ann was also a great teacher, I can tell she is passionate about her work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete the study guides, and make sure to do your reading. This is not an "Easy A" course, but you will not regret taking it. She gives hints as to what he essays will be on the tests (two on each test), so practice writing out your essays before the test. She also grades on participation, so speak up!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to other people. For me at first I was not sure if I was going to like it. It was a required course so I had to take it but I really ended up liking it! I learned so much that I did not know before. It is a very enlightening class and teaches you a lot of things. Most of the things you never really think about. I would tell everyone if they have to option to take this class either required or even just as an elective to take it. It is worth it.

    Course highlights:

What I have gained from this course in general is more knowledge. For someone who does not know what anthropology is it is a great introduction course to a wide variety of topics. It is the study of human biological and psychological characteristics and their evolution. So far I have learned about topics such as different cultures, race, ethnography, and language. I really enjoyed looking deeper into these topics that I used to know so little about. I'm looking forward to the other topics to come.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students thinking about taking this course would be take it! It is a really interesting subject and so it makes it easy to learn and read about. It is not a boring topic and every enlightening. I have really enjoyed it thus far.
