    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was the hardest class I took Freshman year. It taught me great study and writing habits, which I use and build on everyday. Not to mention knowledge of where the present conditions in the world originated, but useful skills to help figure out the future course of our civilization.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much knowledge of the origins of civilization in general and I got to participate in great class discussions. It widened my worldview considerably and made me want to learn more about government and society throughout history.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and take all the writing advice you can get. Do the rough draft option of having the teacher look at your rough drafts. Lots of students do not do this. Do it!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I really did enjoy this class because the teacher was great and the class was pretty easy. We read and answered questions and made maps. Also we even watched movies and we didn't have to do a worksheet with it as long as we stayed awake and paid attention.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the different wars that happened things like pearl harbor and we watched the movie along with "Red Tails" when we learned about African Americans getting the freedom to be in the military. Also we talked about the amendments and when they were created and the meaning behind them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do your work and pay attention and take notes and you'll do great!
