    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

There's no way you could fail this course. He gives you everything you need for the class, even the textbook if he has enough available. Dr. Deng is THAT professor that actually tells you what will be on the exam and provides you with the tools needed to pass.

    Course highlights:

It was a refreshment of Chemistry taught in High School.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't skip class, he'll notice. Always email him if you're not able to make it to class that day.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this as a summer course. The instructor, Ms. Simmons was always available via text/email and quick to reply. She gave clear guidance in her syllabus and all of her email responses were very comprehensive. The labs were great! Very involved, and always three or more segments to each lab so you were really able to apply what you learned while reading the text.

    Course highlights:

I think my biggest growth point was in my mastery of finding the unknown using the equations and equalities...moles to grams, etc.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Set up a specific study schedule each day, maybe take one day off per week...mine was Sunday. Then, be consistent with completing the homework. I got a little behind on that and it impacted my grade...my final grade was a B but could have been an A if I completed the homework for the course.
