Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course with professor Topham because he not only takes textbook material but also personal stories and incorporates the two aspects and puts them together to create an amazing learning environment for all of his students. Not to mention he is a very funny guy and takes history and puts it into a real time point of view to make it easier for you to understand.

    Course highlights:

Professor Topham created one of the best learning environments that I have ever been apart of. He is very funny, and knows the course material like the back of his hand. He also takes the time to make sure that each and every student understands the material that he is teaching.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor Topham makes it almost impossible for you to fail his class. He makes sure that you fully understand the material and even will take the extra time out of his day to stay with you after class, or even before class if you need the extra time to learn the material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoy his lectures. He relates all of the ideas of the past to today's generation. He doesn't just state facts; he explains them thoroughly. His tests are not too difficult (although it does require studying to pass them). He also makes study notes for us to define and study. He's an overall cool teacher.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was his study notes that he gave us notes to study for the exams. I learned much about the early 1900s that I hadn't known before, especially in relation to today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to his lectures, and write notes. Download his powerpoint notes from online, and study all of them. It will help you get a good grade and to understand what really happened in American history.
