    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Feret is a wonderful teacher and her class helped me greatly when i made the transition from high school to college.

    Course highlights:

The Poetry unit and the Drama unit are probably my favorite component of this class even though i loved all of it. You learn many different types of poetry and how you write it. And for the Drama unit we read Twelfth Night by Shakespeare and it was wonderful. You really got to learn the meaning of the text because Mrs. Feret pushed us to dig deeper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do your work on time and study, study, study. And if you are confused make sure you ask questions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Feret is a dedicated teacher, who believes in her students and wholly commits herself to their success as students.

    Course highlights:

In AP Literature and Composition, I learned that you can always learn something and improve. Not only did Mrs. Feret teach me how to dig deeper into literature and find the true meaning behind symbols and other literary devices, she also taught me that I am an intelligent, worthy student with potential. Mrs. Feret taught me to explain and express the deeper meaning, while also keeping an open mind.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely give yourself plenty of time to dedicate yourself to the class work. If you are not in AP Literature for the long run, this class is not for you. It's a tough course, and by no means is it easy. There will be tears, all nighters, and probably a couple thoughts of dropping the class, but in the long run, it will all pay off.
