Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because it will help you improve as a writer. Even if you don't pursue writing in your future studies, you will be expected to argue your ideas in writing in a variety of your classes and future career.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was looking at other people's paper and seeing what they wrote, and seeing how you can improve your own. I also enjoyed the argument paper because it gave me the opportunity to look at a controversial issue and write about my stance on that topic.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend participating in the peer reviews and offer good information regarding their paper. After all, they are being graded on the paper just like you are. Also ask the professor for help if you need to. Don't wait until the last minute to ask a question.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She grades based on her personal beliefs which was much different than mine.

    Course highlights:

Honestly? Nothing. If you are a conservative student she will hate you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to pass one of her classes, you will need to be very liberal in your way of thinking.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a good introduction into English Composition for those with little to no background. However, I would not recommend it for those who have experience as it is an introductory class and is relatively easy as such.

    Course highlights:

The course helped to cement in MLA format along. There were many technical aspects that the course allowed me to become more confident in, such as the alphabetical organization of my citations and how to cite certain images.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read all of the instructions that the course provides. It is sometimes very easy to miss assignments. It is also better to get a head start if possible on essays and readings instead of procrastinating.
