    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This site did not give me the option for my university. I took an online class through DMACC Ankeny with professor Ben Godar. That class I was enrolled in was great, but I'm disappointed in this websites incomplete database.

    Course highlights:

From professor Godar, I learned a lot about phrasing and structure. Before the class, my thoughts were very scattered, but this class taught me to apply what I know into the appropriate paragraphs. I also began to learn from other writers mistakes by the way we critiqued our classmates papers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There's a large time commitment you must make in order to succeed in this class, especially if you want an A. I am a 4.0 student, and I finished with a B. He is a tough teacher, but you learn a lot from your mistakes and his corrections.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took the online class, which was very difficult for me as I was never able to reach my professor, or she didn't return any answers for several days after I emailed her. I dropped the class before the official drop date for this reason.

    Course highlights:

I didn't learn much as I was never able to speak with the professor. It was an online class and she never returned my emails. If she did it would always be a couple of days later, after the fact.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take the online version of this course. It was not worth the headache!

Never procrastinate and make sure you have time to work outside of class
