Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course can sometimes feel repetitive because it is usually just reviewing the book. The class can also be hard because the teacher knows you can do better than just procrastinating the whole year.

    Course highlights:

I loved the class because I learned so much. Everyone was very helpful to me and there was always someone willing to give me the mentoring I needed. The teacher made sure that you are in class to learn not to fool around.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work. Stay focused and make sure not to be left behind by the class. Just complete everything you are given. The course will be helpful and as long as you are paying attention it is useful.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took the AP version of this course my sophomore year in high school. This was the most challenging course I have ever taken, but I am so thankful I chose it! Mr. Lewis taught me how to think in a way that no other instructor did. Mr. Lewis also gave a completely unbiased opinion on everything he taught, letting the students make/write about their own opinion/judgement.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write essays containing information instead of blissful "fluff". I also learned about our nation. Knowing the history and creation of the United States allows me to better understand current events and issues.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Sign up and take the AP test! Not only could you possible receive college credit for a free course, but you will also gain experience for future AP tests. It is expensive, but worth it! Don't give up. This class is difficult and requires a lot of notes, book work, and extra reading. Don't be afraid to ask for help, either. My classmates were great allies yearlong. Either to discuss topics, help with assignments, or correct papers, my peers were happy to assist me.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because there's interesting topics that gives anyone insight from our past so we can avoid making the same mistakes and identify who we are in society.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were having a friendly relationship and feeling comfortable enough to ask anything I had problems on and actually understanding what people felt and went through. I learned about the American president's characteristics and how they managed during their terms as presidents, the most important battles, and the social aspects of American lives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

what you need to do to succeed is study the story well and know why people did or didn't do things because of how they felt.
