    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

My instructor was insistent on teaching us a formula on how to create the perfect paragraph. She was not concerned with how to get us to write the perfect paper, she wanted to convey that in order to write a perfect paper, you have to go back to the basics and learn how to write the perfect sentence and paragraph. At first I thought it was silly, but it turned out to really strengthen my writing abilities.

    Course highlights:

This course taught not only writing, but also how to think. In everything you write, there needs to be a purpose and you need to identify the implications. I learned how to think outside of the box and create something not only intellectual, but also meaningful.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind, pay attention, and never be afraid to create something.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course, but most importantly the instructor because at MCC Comp 1 is required but this teacher makes it a very fun and educational course. with debate, discussion, and application the class is great for anyone who loves to take part or sit back and learn.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course came to the review of who we are and what group we belong to, it does not only give you an opportunity to self assess but to learn more about the group you feel most belonging to.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

if you are fresh out of high school and taking this course prepare to forget everything that has been taught to you in the past twelve years. this class has no problem with rewriting the rules written in stone or simply forgetting them all together.
