    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is great at showing students how to care for a child if they care to have one over if a particular student actually does want to have children.

    Course highlights:

In this class we were able to care for a doll that would cry for what they wanted such as feeding, changing, and being loved. This really showed me how stressful it is to take care of a newborn.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You really do need to have a love for children to really appreciate this class

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is great to take during high school to prepare for college and earn college credit. It is really a great class to learn about Biology and if the science/medical career is the best thing for you. It is fun to be in class but much is demanded of the students and they are treated like college students while they get the credit.

    Course highlights:

How to effectively take notes and write at a college level. 8 Credits could be earned from taking this course, so the workload was fairly significant. In preparation for college the class is labs and lecture based.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on the course work! If something doesn't make sense go back and get help before trying to move on. Come in before and after school to get help so that you can pass the test and understand the coursework before the class moves on to fair, since biology builds on itself.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course specifically because it helped me gain more knowledge on not only parenting, but learning how a child's brain works and how we develop as we grow.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights was of course having the robotic baby. It felt completely real and opened my eyes to the parenting world. Another highlight was doing a real, hands on daycare with children ages 2-5 years of age. It was interesting to see how they interact with each other as well as the adults.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY! Know the facts abut children and how they function. Pay lots of attention and have fun with it :)
