Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was fantastic! As a history buff I found the class interesting and it was my favorite class I took that year. Mr.Parrett is tough on his students but in the end it is for your benefit, his pushing and strict rules help you. I strongly believe that anyone who is in his class will pass the AP exam, he really knows his stuff and knows how the exam works. He teaches well and enjoyed his lectures thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me was when we talked about the world wars and America's involvement in them. I also liked that in every time period we learned about how things were economically, socially, etc and how those things changed from year to year.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the work he gives you. It may seem like a massive amount at first, but once you've gotten the hang of how things work it won't take you as long to complete all of the assignments. At the beginning it takes a long time so plan for that, but eventually you get a handle on everything.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course but only if you are willing to do a lot of work. It's very interesting but there is just so much to keep up with.

    Course highlights:

I learned from the times of Native Americans onto when President Obama got elected and everything in-between.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to delegate your time or else you're going to be awake the day before your test until all hours of the night trying to do coursework that won't be the best you've ever done.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was an extremely hard class. It takes a lot of dedication and Mr.Parret can be very forward about issues in the class. If he believes that you aren't trying hard enough he will call you out. If you take this class, have a strong mind to study often and work hard. Be careful, and hear Mr. Parret out because he knows what hes talking about, but he can be hard to deal with sometimes.

    Course highlights:

I loved the amendments and Civil war section of this course! Really try to get it into it and you will learn a lot.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Really really put in a lot of time. You have to take the time to read the book and do the study guides. If you don't there isn't much of a chance of passing the class or the exam.
