Professor Mani made a subject that is typically rather difficult for students understandable and applicable. The labs were interesting and corresponded with the lecture topics.
As a dental hygiene student, I did not require a very high level of chemistry. Professor Mani's class contained many students whose situations were similar to mine. He recognized this and focused on the basic, most relevant concepts for our medical fields. He also supplemented the usual curriculum with ideas and concepts applicable to problems medical students would encounter in their fields.

Prepare for labs by choosing a competent partner (if possible), completing the pre-lab assignments, and reviewing the lab procedure before class begins.
