Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even though this course is an introductory course it is just the right amount of challenging and the professor always makes things hands on. He knows how to teach everyone not just certain people.

    Course highlights:

I personally loved learning about all the different theories such as social choice theory, and lifestyle theory. it was interesting to earn that without even knowing it we can aid in our own victimization.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was definitely an eye opener in regards to what some specifics of the law entails. It was a good way to learn about certain rules on politics and why or why not a law could be applied to a case.

    Course highlights:

The best part was the interactive way in which the professor led the class discussions. At one point we did role playing as if in a court room for jury duty. It was a great way to better understand how jurors come to their final decision and all that they have to consider before doing so.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have an interest in the justice system this is definitely for you. Or if you are considering a career as a counselor like me, I think the benefits of knowing more about laws will have a tremendous impact in your capability of assessing your clients.
