    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to students interested in infield biology work. This is a fun and outdoor course where the labs are very interactive and you even have the opportunity to do a research project to strengthen you resume!

    Course highlights:

I completed a research project and learned many out in the field techniques and gained many new skills such as testing pH in different environments. I got stuck in the mud trying to collect samples which was fun for the whole class and yes even myself. I would love to take another course comparable to this one as you actually get a feel of what a real biologist is all about.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Choose a good group that it as motivated as you are about the course if not more. It was also very helpful to study as a group or have class meetings outside of class to study for exams and quizzes. Do NOT wait until last minute to care for your research project and to complete the labs the nights that they are due because this is a common problem students fall into that get them into trouble with the course.
