    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is one of the best and easiest classes I have ever taken. The teacher is very kind and funny. If you start struggling in the class the teacher will help.

    Course highlights:

I had never known that there was something called the Anaconda Plan during the Civil War until I took this class. The teacher brings items of her grandfather that was in WWII.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Please be kind to the teacher and she'll be kind to you. Be on time to the class as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

United States History Honors was a course that taught me crucial events in history and the events that preceded them. Learning about the manipulation that took place before Hitler was placed into power allowed me to see how people were on his side. This course taught me the importance of voting because those who forget history, repeat it! The teacher was phenomenal and opened the classroom to a place that invited discussion

    Course highlights:

I learned the presidents and their stories: who they were, what their families consisted of, how they died, and what they stood for. I learned the different laws and amendments, making me a more informed citizen on what rights I have, living in the United States.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work to memorize the presidents and the states with their capitals. These are crucial skills to have, not only in this course but also in life. Also, know that Mrs. Garton is willing to work with you to improve your grade as long as you have taken all extra credit opportunities she has presented.
