Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging, but it prepares you for what college is going to be like. It's a very interesting class once you immerse yourself into the details. Mr. Hulsebosch is also a very accommodating teacher so it's not as difficult as it may first seem.

    Course highlights:

I gained the ability to take notes and skim for key points of data. There's so much that you have to remember that you can get overwhelmed fairly quickly. I also learned how to write a proper college E history analysis.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused and study as much as possible. Do not procrastinate because you will fall behind other wise. Also take notes on everything power points, lectures, videos, and sometimes speeches.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher also teaches the schools pseudo-philosophy class for IB. She usually creates her own handouts to study for exams.

    Course highlights:

The cold war and the fall of the Weimar republic were my favorite units. Mostly because during the cold war unit we examined the Vietnamese war and the collapse of a government in Germany which was pretty cool.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the handouts, always and every time they are handed out. She enjoys testing you on them and i would recommend reading them twice for exams. The information is easier to grasp when the hand-outs are read more than once.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It makes you question your own existence at times and forces you to think.

    Course highlights:

I learned that our perspectives can affect our way of thinking. You can never be sure about something unless it's a fact.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the reading. Try to get involved in the classroom in the beginning.
