Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone, even if history is not your forte. This is not only because, the professor is amazingly talented at what he does, making the material easy to grasp, but also because becoming educated on how this country that we live works is as important as learning to speak.

    Course highlights:

As the name of the course implies, the class details the setup, processes, and rankings within our American government. You will learn the rights granted to the country's inhabitants through the constitution, how the election systems of various types of politicians work, as well as how rules and regulations are enforced, etc..

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course I would suggest that students should simply listen during lecture and take diligent notes, as well as go home and read the chapters in the textbook for that day.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Oneill is one of the greatest teachers that I've ever had, without doubt. I went in to the class thinking I would hate it since I never enjoyed government as a topic, but he made everything easy to understand and fun to learn.

    Course highlights:

The jokes he would tell us and the little anecdotes that he gave us really helped students to memorize important concepts. For instance, layered cake can be related to dual federalism.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid of the subject, especially with this teacher. Take notes, ask questions, do the reviews, look over the test outlines, and listen to lectures- it'll help a lot.
