    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Good material but teacher turnover rate at the school is too quick for sustainable learning.

    Course highlights:

We studied a lot of Shakespeare

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be ready for vocabulary tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Flaten was a great educator and really cared whether you passed or failed. Most teachers in Cooper City High could be considered complacent when it comes to student success or academic triumph, but not her. Whether you like it or not she will push for you to do your best and succeed.

    Course highlights:

If you like reading, this is the course for you. The Great Gatsby is the primary read in this course. I'd advise to read the book front t back more than once. The tests in this course are focusing on every little detail and not just face value. You will have to understand the depth of F. Scott Fitzgerald writing and be able to mimic his style.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed you must study and work hard. This isn't a course for someone who want to breeze through. To truly appreciate Ms. Flaten you must value English Literature and want to apply it in your every day life.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I think this course opens up your mind to different types of writing. It also informs you on proper writing and grammar skills necessary in the real world.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of grammar skills in terms of sentence structure. I learned proper writing structure in essays. There was a lot covered in ancient skits.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard and study all of the material taught to you.
