    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it not only teaches important information regarding our environment, but also enables students to discuss and create solutions to current environmental issues.

    Course highlights:

This course has enlightened me to the precarious situations facing our environment currently as well as in the future. Awareness is the key to begin creating solutions to stop environmental degradation. I have learned about things such as global warming, climate change, consequences of how human actions and activities are destroying our planet.

    Hours per week:

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The only reason that I do not completely recommend this course is because of the excessive reading it requires. This class involve a lot of textbook and article reading to study for tests and complete homework. That being said, the course is still something I would highly recommend because it allows for students to learn about the environment around them and the detrimental effects that they are contributing to. This is one of the classes that most has applications to the real world and thus keeps students very interested. Similarly, the teacher has a lot of experience in environmental exploration and always has a story to add to the subject matter.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the frequency in which the class goes outside to explore subjects in depth or participate in labs to see and handle whatever it is we are discussing. Also, the teacher has a lot of interesting stories from diving in unexplored locations and hiking in unmarked regions to go along with the topics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to follow through on textbook reading even if no homework corresponds with it because if you read the textbook in this class, the tests becomes significantly easier.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wish the teacher was more helpful. While he has plenty of experience in the environmental science department and is very passionate about this subject, he does not know how to teach it.

    Course highlights:

The documentaries we watched were very interesting and I did learn about real world problems our environment faces today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely read the textbook. Do not just skim over the information.
