    Course Overview:

    I absolutely loved this course, not only is it a prerequisite but it is a fun class.

    Course highlights:

    I enjoyed being able to give my viewpoints in essays.

    Course Overview:

    Professor Hurner is a very fair teacher and is willing to help you to be successful in his class.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to properly research and write a paper. I was refreshed on all the grammar and writing rules I learned in high school that I had forgotten.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    To be successful in this course you need to make sure you go over all his notes. You need to make sure that you have looked over the examples he gives in his notes and to be sure to ask if you are struggling with something. He is a very helpful teacher.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    In today's competitive work force, you must stand out to be recognized. Having a fundamental understanding of the basic rules and principles of writing will help one to fill out applications for employment accurately as well as create a resume cover page. A resume cover letter can act as your first impression. Freshman composition will help prepare you in creating a resume cover letter making your first impression most memorable- giving you a competitive edge to potential employers.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight of the course was sharing our writing assignments with the class as a whole-yet not knowing who wrote what. It gave us all a chance to see what influence as well as the different interpretations our work had on others.
