    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend due to lack of information learned and felt unprepared for the AP exam. I would recommend course because the teacher is an absolutely amazing human being but teaches very little.

    Course highlights:

I loved the people i met in this course and i had learned many thing about the government and life that i never knew. Learning about how the government is very interesting because we have to deal with it in the days of our lives and it can be very beneficial to have an understanding of what is happening around us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you do all of the work assigned because it will benefit you. Studying is also extremly important if you do not keep up with all the information you will not do well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students who are comfortable with organizing their own workload and learning the material on their own. This course comes with a lot of at-home, independent learning, where the teacher will assign readings and worksheets in class and you're expected to have completed the assignment that night and come to the next class where you will be assigned more reading/worksheets. Time management and organization are essential for success in this course, especially towards the AP exam, where the passing rate is very low.

    Course highlights:

One of the best things that came from this course was being taught by an instructor that has first hand experience in the world of government and economics. She is able to explain things in a real life scenario/experience that helps engage the students in the lecture. A highlight of this course is that Mrs. Marks will usually apply the AP curve to her tests and also does test drop, so if you get behind on studying, you can still make up for it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend getting ahead in this course as much as possible if the student doesn't have a flexible schedule to work with outside of school. I also recommend saving all of the notes, worksheets/packets, powerpoints and articles throughout the course because these tools will be essential to study from come the time of the AP exam.
