Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course can be a lot of work because you have to plan an event for your report. However, overall, the course is intriguing and you are able to learn a lot about marketing, event planning, and the tourism industry.

    Course highlights:

This was the first course where I studied the marketing mix. I gained understanding on how different sectors contributed to the tourism industry. This course is helpful, not only for the AICE credit, but also because you're able to get experience with tourism and marketing.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused! If you get off track by even the slightest bit, it will affect the validity and the completeness of your final report. Like I said, it's a lot of work, but I think it's worth it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is a fantastic teacher overall, and goes out of his way to help you and your group with any step you may be confused with, while abiding by the AICE guidelines. The course itself is useful in day to day life, and I have gained such knowledge and experience from creating my own field trip.

    Course highlights:

I planned and carried out a snorkeling trip along the coast of Fort Lauderdale beach. I learned all about management and business skills, along with the factors that influence tourism in the country.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate on the final project. As long as you stay on top of the workload, the class is tough at times, but fun at times also.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to a student if they are willing to challenge themselves. This course is a vigorous but exciting course to take. It requires a lot of work, but you get to plan field trips, actually attend the field trip that you have planned for the school, and get a grade for having fun

    Course highlights:

I learned how to successfully run a business, a travelling business. It improved my customer services skills that i now use for the actual work place i work in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be ready to learn and explore new options. This course deals with a lot of team work, you hae to carry your own weight though.
