    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you struggle with calculus and you can take Business Calc instead of Calc 1 take it with Ryan White! He is the only reason that I not only passed the class but ended up with an A. Ryan goes out of his way to help his students succeed.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was honestly the professor. Ryan made the material very easy to understand, he was always available for extra help, and really wanted to see his students succeed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

TAKE RYAN! and keep on top of your homework

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course as it serves as the main basis of what other math classes you will follow up on. Having a strong foundation in Calculus is extremely important in college. Especially regarding all the types of majors offered at Florida Tech.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course would be the various types of topics that applied to the science world such as derivatives, integrals etc. Additionally, I learned various approaches to mathematical problems and overall learned to break college level math problems into simple steps with practice.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be afraid to take this course. Yes, it is hard but with enough practice you can easily conquer this course. Additionally, mastering this course is extremely beneficial as it provides the main foundation for other math classes such as Calculus 2, Calculus 3, etc.
