    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to give people a better understanding about what choices need to be made when a business makes a product. This week we are studying product development and it will be helpful for the future.

    Course highlights:

Thus far the highlights have been this week's focus on product development. I am enjoying studying the process of taking an idea and creating a top seller.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Really read and pay attention to the textbook. The quizzes are not on vocabulary or any key concepts that skimming will cover. Thoroughly pay attention to the book.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I really feel that this class was an eye opener when it comes to following directions to a "T" and making sure I knew APA formatting also to the "T". The professor is very demanding and there is a lot of material in a very short term to learn. I truly believe this course helped me be a better student overall in the end. It was stressful and at times, I became almost angry. Well, I take that back as I was angry. This is a class where you definitely need to stay on track. There is a lot of reading and a lot of writing. You should expect a great deal of class interaction as well. The final exam is cumulative.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the assignment on Go Pro cameras. I think that alone open my eyes to marketing and was the starting point for everything else to kind of fit into place in a way I could better understand. I ended up learning that there is much more to marketing than I expected. I also learned how important it is to understand the global market as many large firms today are global.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for anyone taking this particular class is first and foremost, simply follow the rules. Learn them, know them and exercise them. The professor will in no sense of the word listen to excuses. Late work is not accepted. Period. Do not even try. Make sure you read and participate in discussions. Although, the professor expects discussions to be posted by Wednesday, they will be accepted by the end of the week, but your grade will reflect it. The notes each and every week say that discussions will be accepted after Sunday, but also states that they are expected by Wednesday. The professor will ask you questions on your discussions. Make sure you respond. There is a large term paper with a PowerPoint presentation due toward the end of the semester. The professor will tell you to start early. You should listen. And one more thing. Always check your email. Important notes are sent out periodically.
