    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Environmental is a good class to take because not only are you learning about the environment but you can apply what you learn to real life. Especially for those who are interested in a career in the environmental sciences.

    Course highlights:

The one most importing thing I learned in AP Enviro is that there are many factors, big and small that humans cause that affect the environment. I learned that it is important to always have the health of the earth in mind whenever you are out doing something. Everything has a cause and effect.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take enough time out of the day to properly go through your notes and study daily. It is healthier and more efficient to study in clumps rather than rushing and studying the night before the test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives a lot of insight about our environmental impact, and ecological footprint. It will literally change the way you look at the world around you as it will cause you to think more about how your daily routine, and that of others, affects our Earth.

    Course highlights:

I learned that everything, even things that occur naturally in nature have BOTH positive and negative affects. I learned not only about the dangers of pollution, but also of the different classes and components of pollutants, and how they can can combine to make an unstable environment. We also cover the ecological footprints of different countries and evaluate the populations, practices, and impacts of developed, developing, and undeveloped nations. Much more is covered in this class that cannot be summarized here.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest that you keep a sturdy binder to keep all of the work you've done for this class, as well as notes and handouts in. Separate it by unit, as you will cover a wide variety of subjects such as math, biology, ecology, economics, and much more in each of the different units. It is important to watch videos and presentations about the subjects covered as supplementary information, and to have a community of peers who also take this course that you can study with.
