    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

it was a tough course, but the material you learn, and the way he presented it to you made it stick, especially for those of us that are not as scientifically inclined.

    Course highlights:

the (optional) field trips were a ton of fun, and really reinforced what we learned in the classroom. My favorite material was when we studied the sharks - covering everything from their anatomy to reproduction, where to find them and how to help with conservation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE MATERAL. Take notes before class while you're reading, take notes during class, ask your professor if you need help, and join study groups. FKCC is a great location if you are studying marine biology because it is literally all around you and the other professors are always happy to help.
