    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course to those interested in expanding their health sciences. It extended my knowledge of the body, and even grasped my attention in way unimaginable. Although I have always yearned to become a pediatrician, I had never shown as much interest in any science course until now. Anatomy and Physiology opened my eyes into a whole new world, in which I not only learned about parts of the body, but also how they function.

    Course highlights:

I have always been the student craving to know why or how things occur. I was never pleased with bland and simple-minded responses, in which I didn't get a well developed explanation. This course challenged me in many ways, as I learned why and how our bodies function. What I found most intriguing, and still do, is that I could relate this course to real aspects of my life.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Anatomy and Physiology requires a lot of hard work and time. My most effective study method in this course proved to be flash cards. They allowed me to memorize the structure, location, and role of each body part. Not only did writing each concept allow me to to process the information, but it also allowed me to stay organized.
