    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you are lucky enough to have Mrs. Rios this class will not only be extremely interesting but also fairly easy. She takes the time to be very creative in all the ways she teaches using hands on experiences, videos, mnemonics, etc.

    Course highlights:

I genuinely feel as though I have a very good understanding of general psychology. You learn about what each part of the brain does in different circumstances, how physiology affects psychology, disorders of brain chemistry etc. You review many different topics but all of them are interesting and you will end up relating the info to situations in life every day. Also I got B+s and As all year along with a 4 on the AP test mainly just from listening to her lectures with minimal studying.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest trying to relate the information to your life every day. Like "I am hungry so my hypothalamus is telling my body I need food."etc

We learned a lot about Sigmund Freuds theories and how his psychoanalytic approach is the most useful in psychology

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours
